2Black Capital was formed after observing the significant upheaval in global financial markets that initially led to a freeze on lending for large scale commercial projects during 2009 and the initial period of 2010. Caution still exists with financiers and companies having a greater focus on creditable, confident and beneficial partnerships. Despite the continued challenges in obtaining funding, there are financial entities willing and able to provide the capital necessary to fund projects.
Our aim is to align smart investors with smart business opportunity for mutual benefit and growth.

This period of his career installed an appreciation and understanding of client company’s financial fundamentals and the importance of strict financial and investment management.

In this role skills were developed in the implementation of research and using creditable ‘facts’ to support and build business plans across the range of IBM’s separate businesses in the region. After great success in the ASEAN/India role he was then promoted to Senior Market Intelligence & Planning Manager for IBM’s Professional Services division in Asia Pacific.
After relocation to Australia Peter's role was as the Corporate Strategy Executive for IBM in Australia and New Zealand leading key business projects designed to grow incremental revenue and profit across the organisation. These projects ranged from the tens of millions to multi-billion dollar growth initiatives.
Most recently Peter's role was as General Manager of Strategy for the Queensland Treasury Corporation leading strategy implementation, setting the structure for the organisation and operational goals.
